An Interesting Showcase of Raw Performance.Mustang drivers are given the choice of two dynamic powertrains for the latest models. Go for the 4th-generation Coyote 5.0L V8 engine, flaunting a formidable 486 horsepower when equipped with the active valve performance exhaust. On the other hand, feel the sheer force of the Mustang Dark Horse, delivering an extraordinary 500 horsepower.

Electronic Drift BreakIntroducing a groundbreaking segment-first electronic drift brake - the merging of cutting-edge technology with the traditional hand brake. Engineered with dual calibration settings, it accommodates both new and expert drivers. With a beginner-friendly setting and competition-ready calibrated mode, both drivers can experience the strength of the Mustang. This innovative feature equipped with a Performance Package, can be switched on or off, providing versatility for track or drift course usage giving the drivers the option to “flutter" the hand brake for nuanced control, thanks to its 40-degree range of motion. It is not intended for street use, however, when activated the system enables controlled drifting by directing hydraulic braking exclusively to the rear wheels, giving the effect of a mechanical parking brake.

Real-Time Performance TrackingStandard Track Apps®* display your performance metrics on the vibrant 12.4" LCD digital instrument cluster or 13.2" center touchscreen. The accelerometer displays lateral and longitudinal g-forces, acceleration, and lap times, plus automatic and countdown starts. Also included is electronic line-lock and launch control**. Electronic line-lock keeps the front brakes locked while in gear to warm up the rear tires. Launch control integrates brake, traction, and powertrain controls — so you can quickly get up to speed.

Adaptive Cruise Control allows you to maintain a preset speed and distance from the vehicle ahead, slowing to a stop, and then returning to your set cruising speed once traffic clears. Plus, Lane Centring helps keep your vehicle properly centered in the lane.
Mustang can alert you to a potential collision with a vehicle, cyclist, or pedestrian in front of you and also while turning at intersections. If you don’t take corrective action, the brakes can apply automatically.
If Pre-Collision Assist with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) determines the distance is too short to brake in time to avoid a collision, your Mustang will provide steering support (without steering for you) to help you avoid the obstacle.
