Expert Terrain Management System

When on an adventure nothing should stop you. The F-150 Raptor is equipped with a Terrain Management System with seven modes; Normal, Slippery, Sport, Tow/Haul, Off Road, Baja and Rock Crawl. Add to that, the new features like Tail Control™ with Trail 1-Pedal Drive. So be it dirt, sand or rock you tackle it all and drive on.

Trail Turn Assist

This feature assists the driver by reducing the vehicle’s turning radius in a low-speed, technical off-road environment that requires large steering input. This is accomplished through application of negative (Brake) torque to the inside rear wheel of the turning vehicle. Trail Turn Assist heightens off road fun by reducing the driver’s effort required to negotiate difficult off-road terrain.

Trail 1-Pedal Drive

The system enables very low-speed crawling and the ability to stop the vehicle without using brake pedal. When the driver lifts off the accelerator pedal, hydraulic brake torque is applied automatically bringing the vehicle to a stop.

Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control & Integrated Trailer Brake Control

It lets you set a cruising speed and distance from the vehicle ahead of you. When it slows down, you automatically do too; when traffic picks back up, you resume your preset speed and distance. Along with Adaptive Cruise Control comes Integrated Trailer Brake Control. Factory installed and integrated into the F-150 Raptor instrument panel ensures the truck’s brakes and the trailer’s brakes are working seamlessly as a team.

When you go off-road you need tires that can take a beating but keep going. That is why, the F-150 Raptor’s 37 Performance Package comes with 37-inch BFGoodrich® All-Terrain T/A® KO2 Tires – the largest factory-fitted tires in its class for better approach, departure and break-over angles as well as ground clearance. These tires look even more powerful on unique 17-inch forged aluminum bead-lock capable wheels. Using the bead-lock conversion kit you can deflate the tries for maximum traction off-road, yet they hold tightly to the rims. Moreover, there’s a spare mounted under the bed. It packs all that you need for a thrilling desert run.
