You take off on a weekend for some fun and relaxation in the great outdoors. To help alleviate the stress of all the hours it takes to reach your destination, you can have your new Ranger equipped with available Adaptive Cruise Control. Just set a cruising speed and distance from the vehicle ahead. And as the vehicle ahead of you slows, so do you — automatically. When the vehicle ahead clears, you resume your preset speed and distance.
Shift into and out of four-wheel drive at the turn of a dial. Shifting into four-wheel drive is as easy as turning a dial with the electronic shift-on-the-fly (ESOF) system. ESOF lets you choose two four-wheel-drive modes (4x4 high or low), as well as two-wheel drive for travel on dry paved surfaces.
10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission, featuring Ford-patented technology, optimizes gear progressions and delivers smooth, quick-shifting up and down the gearbox. Features include wide-span gear spacing coupled with drag-reduction actions plus three overdrive gears. Pairing SelectShift technology with the dynamic 2.3L EcoBoost engine makes the 2020 Ford Ranger tough, capable and ready for fun.
You carry gear – and lots of it. That’s why the 2020 Ranger delivers an impressive 7,500 lb. tow rating and a best-in-class maximum 1,860-lb. payload rating. So whether you need to haul it or tow it, the 2020 Ford Ranger is ready for your next adventure.
The 2020 Ford Ranger has a double A-arm independent front suspension engineered for agility and control over rugged off-road terrain. The shock absorbers are the mono tube type designed for fade resistance and heat dissipation. They’re also nitrogen gas-pressurized for shock-damping consistency over sustained rough road conditions.
The rear suspension of the 2020 Ranger delivers ride quality and control, both on and off the road, with two-stage parabolic leaf springs. Ford engineers knew their flexible, low-friction design enables more axle movement and flexibility with reduced stiffness over the conventional multi-leaf springs typically used in high-load applications.
A tough truck doesn’t equal a rough ride. The new chrome grille and a more muscular front

With leather seats, controls that are in plain sight and easy to reach, extra storage and
